A team of knowledgeable people who produce extraordinary results

The work we do in Australia represents an even split between strategy and operations, with the residual ~10% in the technology and transformation field. This covers a wide range of industries and clients. While the type of work we do inevitably changes based on economic conditions, A.T. Kearney is well positioned to support clients address critical business issues regardless of the broader climate. In Australia, we has grown rapidly in recent years - particularly since the MBO in 2006.

We work with many key players within the financial services industry, including those in private equity, retail banking and insurance. For our private equity clients, we are highly experienced in both commercial due diligence and wider portfolio improvement. In retail banking, we have solid experience working in operational improvement, organisational design and technology transformation. Similarly, we also work with large insurers on a diverse range of business issues, from business unit strategy and customer service, through to IT procurement and cost reduction.

The Australian practice also has a particularly strong grounding in the consumer goods and retail space. We work extensively with many large FMCG clients, both local and global, on top line initiatives, including organic growth, pricing and sales force effectiveness. Similarly, our work extends through to overall supply chain optimisation, process improvement and large scale merger integration.

The work we do in other industries is diverse. We work in capital management, working capital optimisation and strategic sourcing for mining, government and gaming clients. Our strategy practice is equally diverse, working across industries such as construction, high tech and logistics. In telecommunications, we have covered a broad range of issues, from corporate strategy to capital management for a number of key players in the Australasian industry. A.T. Kearney therefore has both deep and broad experience in a cross-section of industries.
